Returns and Refunds

CHANGE OF MIND

We want you to love your new sofa, but we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out. Because of this we accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, even if your sofa has been opened and fully inflated.

However, please note:

  • Once inflated, the sofa cannot be compressed again, so it must be returned as is
  • Return shipping must be arranged by the customer and packed in a large, secure box that accommodates the fully expanded sofa
  • You're welcome to reuse the original plastic wrapping provided, and we recommend adding extra padding or protection
  • Returned items must be in good condition, with no signs of damage or excessive use
  • Change-of-mind returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee if there is no fault or defect.

We’re happy to accept returns, but due to the nature of compressed sofas, this process is a little more hands-on than your average return. If you're unsure before ordering, feel free to reach out to our team. We can always offer fabric swatches and additional product details to help you feel confident with your purchase.


RETURNS PROCESS

We’re here to make the returns process as smooth as possible. If you do need to send something back, just follow the steps below and we’ll guide you through it.

To start a return, email hello@risestudios.com.au with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A copy of your order confirmation
  • Clear photos of the item and original packaging

Before sending anything back, just get in touch with us first so we can help guide you through the return and make sure everything is in order.

Customers are responsible for organising and covering the cost of return shipping. We're happy to assist with guidance on packaging and transport options if needed.


REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll let you know if it’s been approved. If so, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 2 business days.

Please note:

  • A 25% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns where there is no fault or defect with the product
  • It may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account depending on your bank
  • Original shipping costs (if applicable) are non-refundable

CLEARANCE ITEMS

Items marked as Clearance are not eligible for return or refund unless deemed faulty.


TRANSIT DAMAGE & EXCHANGES

If your item arrives damaged during transit, please notify us within 48 hours at hello@risestudios.com.au.

Include:

  • Photos of the damage
  • Packaging photos
  • Your order number

If eligible, we’ll send a replacement part or a full replacement as soon as possible.

WARRANTY

All Rise Studios sofas come with a 12-month warranty that covers manufacturing faults or defects in materials and workmanship.

We take pride in the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase. Our warranty is designed to protect you from unexpected manufacturing issues, but there are a few reasonable limitations to keep in mind:

  • Warranty coverage requires proper care and maintenance. Using harsh cleaning agents, abrasives, or detergents may void the warranty.
  • The warranty does not cover damage from misuse or neglect (including burns, cuts, scratches, scuffs, pet damage, or water damage).
  • Products used outdoors (unless specifically noted as outdoor-safe) are not covered.
  • Any modifications or repairs not authorised by Rise Studios will void the warranty.
  • Exposure to extreme conditions such as direct sunlight, high heat, cold, or chemical agents that damage the finish will void coverage.
